"THE ONTARIO CHILDREN'S AID SOCIETIES" A DOCUMENTARY, SEPTEMBER 2011

Blakout.ca - Voices Silenced by Fear

Great timing! One month before Ontario Election. ( http://www.blakout.ca ) (yes the c is missing). Ryerson U Documentary Media Department students are doing a revealing documentary on CAS in Ontario.

"blakout.ca explores the workings of a democracy by inviting people who feel they've been bullied and silenced by an authority, to speak out and tell their story. stories are documented on the website and a widespread issue is critically researched through documentary film to inform a caring and responsible electorate at the ballot."

I have called the department to ask if they can talk to me. I encourage MPP's Rosario Marchese, Frank Klees, Randy Hillier, and Andrea Horwath (Child Welfare Critic) to contact them since they all support Ombudsman Oversight of CAS in Ontario. Let them know you support Ombudsman Oversight and why!
