Niagara CAS Witholding sixteen year old foster child's ID and keeping her from her grandparents

A sixteen year old girl living in foster care under the Child and Family Services of Niagara Falls is attempting to get her Identification from her CAS worker who so far has allegedly refused to hand it over.

The worker has also allegedly told the girl she has to stay in foster care until she is 18 years old despite the fact that her grandparents and the foster girl herself wish to live together.

The Grandparents have already been approved by the Society for visits. We are currently investigating this matter and will report as we get updates.

This year, The Agency's Child and Family Services Foundation is holding a fundraiser at the Whirlpool Golf Course as organized by the Embassy Suites Hotel.
