The following letter has been sent to Jeanette Lewis, the Executive Director of the Ontario Association of Children's Aid Societies regarding ministry allocated child-protection funds being wasted on legal threats against him.

Jeannette Lewis
Executive Director
Ontario Association of Children's Aid Societies

On Tuesday October 27, 2009 I e-mailed (enclosed) to ask if you are still using the Toronto law firm, Swadron and Associates, to threaten me with legal action (using Ministry allocated child protection transfer payments collected from Children's Aid Societies) for starting a free, Internet based discussion group for people who wish to become members of a Children's Aid Society.

With the OACAS sending out press releases to media across the province regarding Societies going bankrupt and having to lay off staff, I just wanted to know if you could please respond as soon as possible to let me know if you have decided to reallocate those child protection funds for better purposes related to child welfare services instead.

It is now almost a month since I wrote this and I have not yet had a response from you. Can you please advise.
